X4 Consulting is providing Business Analysis and Data Analysis services to the Open Government Data Programme, helping the team to further New Zealand’s global standing in the Open Data Barometer.
The Open Government Data Programme is a multi-agency programme that seeks to shift the culture within the New Zealand government to an ‘open by default’ approach.
X4 has been working with agencies to identify their data assets and provide guidance on how the value of these assets can be realised. One of the agencies participating in this exercise commented:
“As a step on the road of discoverability, this is gold.”
